Job Description
Belcan is looking for an Open Plan Project Scheduler with 2+ years of experience in Cincinnati, OH. This is a direct, full-time position with full benefits. Great matching candidates will have program/project management experience, can build and maintain detailed project plans for engineering projects, and are effective users of an enterprise grade project planning tool (e.g. Deltek Open Plan, Microsoft Project). You will be working with engineers, project managers, and cost account managers on the next generation of jet engine design programs. An active, clearance is required.
Job Duties:
- Work with the cross functional team to create, refine, and update the project plan for the projects that are assigned to them.
- Outline the business need, project goals, and key project milestones.
- Conduct Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) workshops / meetings to break down the work horizontally (deliverables) and vertically (function).
- Create and continuously update the project schedule and action plan(s) to achieve milestones and overall project goals.
- Actively manage project changes and re-baselining schedule as needed.
- Collaborate with technical team members to create and setup tasks, assignments, durations, and linkages.
- Support Work breakdown Structure (WBS) and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) Planning, Baseline Management to include Budget Change Requests (BCRs), Schedule Change Requests (SCRs), Administrative Change Requests (ACRs)
- Monitor project timelines and deadlines, identifying potential delays and facilitating intervention.
- Drive Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) cleanup efforts and support audit preparations.
- Run critical / driving paths and articulate its importance in driving program execution.
- Support IMS Leader with various tasks in preparation for Integrated Baseline Review (IBR) and monthly reports.
- Assist in the generation of reports to provide to client business leaders on key metrics, milestones, and critical path
Required:
- Education: Associate degree in a recognized engineering field from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of project scheduling or project management experience.
- Proficiency in Deltek Open Plan, or similar.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Highly organized, detailed oriented.
- A current, active clearance is required.
- Some technical, or mechanical background is preferred. Emphasis on experience working with Engineers.
- Due to the nature of the work being done all applicants must be U.S. Citizen.

Compensation:
We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary rate of $56,160 to $79,040 however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
