Gynaecology is the branch of medical science which deals with diseases and conditions of the female reproductive system.Gynaecology and obstetrics are twin subjects that deal with the female reproductive system. While obstetrics deals with pregnancy and its associated procedures and complications, gynaecology involves treating women who are not pregnant.

World Menstrual Hygiene Day is celebrated on May 28 all over the world every year to create awareness about menstruation, provide safe and hygienic practices to girls, and burst the bubble of taboo.

Menstruation is a normal subject that can be discussed publicly in a normal voice, not a low-pitched one.
