Under the general direction of the Occupational Licensing programs, Codes and Standards Administrator II, the Codes and Standards Administrator I, is responsible for managing and developing the Division’s activities related to 1) the investigation and enforcement of state and federal laws and regulations governing manufacturers, dealers, and salespersons in the manufacture, sale, rent, or lease of manufactured homes, mobile homes, and commercial modulars; 2) the administration of the licensing processes; 3) administration of Manufactured Housing Recovery Fund (MHRF) claims for victims; and 4) administration of the Preliminary and Continuing Education Program as related to licensure. Additionally, the Codes and Standards Administrator I assists in all aspects of investigations, including intake, planning, organizing, directing, reviewing, and coordinating investigative activities, while serving as a first-line supervisor for Special Investigators, District Representative II Peace Officers, and support staff. This position requires evaluating complex situations, determining appropriate actions, acting on behalf of the Codes and Administrator II in their absence, and maintaining a high degree of confidentiality, responsibility, and sensitivity. As the Codes and Standards Administrator, you may also participate in complex investigations and perform other duties as required.

HCD Disclosure Requirements

HCD conducts pre-employment background checks on all new to HCD or returning to HCD candidates. This position requires a background check to be cleared prior to being hired.
