Job Title: NPI Buyer Pay Rate: $30.00-$33.00 per hour Location: Grand Rapids, MI 49512 Shift: 1st Job Type: Direct, Full Time #Buyer #ManufacturingJobs #NewProductIntroduction Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled New Product Introduction Buyer. Candidates will drive procurement execution and strategic sourcing for new product development initiatives, aligning supply chain strategies with organizational objectives, operational requirements, and critical project timelines to ensure successful product launches. Responsibilities:

• Procurement Execution: Partner with R&D to define material needs and ensure timely sourcing to meet project milestones.
• Strategic Sourcing: Develop supplier strategies aligned with business goals; evaluate vendors for quality, cost, and innovation.
• Supplier Management: Build strong supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to optimize value and performance.
• Cost & Risk Control: Lead cost-saving initiatives and proactively manage supply chain risks to support product development.
• Process Improvement: Apply Lean principles to enhance sourcing efficiency and drive continuous improvement.

Core Qualifications:

• Bachelor"s degree or equivalent experience in Sourcing, and a minimum of three (3) years of Sourcing experience preferably within the Aerospace & Defense industry.
• Leadership, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Strong communication and decision-making abilities.
• Familiarity with Lean principles and continuous improvement practices.
