Our mission is to revolutionize the food industry by creating innovative robotic solutions that enhance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. We are passionate about pushing the boundaries of technology to deliver cutting-edge products that meet the evolving needs of our industry.

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Manufacturing Engineer to drive our production processes from planning to execution. You will play a crucial role in developing manufacturing tools/fixtures, processes, and plans, defining production schedules, establishing quality control practices, and coordinating with both internal teams and external partners. Your technical expertise will be pivotal in designing tools, fixtures, and processes that ensure seamless manufacturing operations while meeting high standards of quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Tool, Fixture, & Process Engineering:
    • Design and develop innovative tools, fixtures, and manufacturing processes that enhance
      production efficiency and product quality.
    • Continuously evaluate and refine manufacturing processes, identifying opportunities for
      cost reduction and operational improvements.
  • Quality and Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Engage with various internal teams—including design and product—to develop end of line checks to ensure manufacturing solutions align with overall quality and business objectives.
    • Monitor production metrics and implement corrective actions as needed, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Implement efficient quality control practices internally and with external partners scaled appropriately for manufacturing volumes
  • Manufacturing Planning & Scheduling:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive manufacturing plans that detail production scheduling and timing.
    • Collaborate closely with the inventory team to establish and maintain accurate "clear to build" schedules, ensuring material availability aligns with production demands.
  • Supplier & Contract Manufacturer Coordination:
    • Establish and nurture relationships with external suppliers and contract manufacturers to facilitate smooth production ramp-ups.
    • Work with these partners to troubleshoot production challenges and optimize manufacturing workflows.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in manufacturing planning, process engineering, or a similar role—experience within robotics or automated production environments is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of production systems, tooling design, and process optimization.
  • Excellent project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing software and data analysis tools.

Additional Information:
Our work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and fulfilling work. We believe that a stimulating and enjoyable workplace is key to driving innovation and achieving excellence. At Lab 37, every team member plays a vital role in shaping the future of food production, and we are committed to supporting our employees' growth and success.

Pay and benefits: We are looking for best in class for both talent and work ethic and provide benefits and pay to match

Join us at Lab 37 and be a part of a forward-thinking company that's transforming the way the world approaches food production.
