In this position, you will be responsible for:

• Operating production machinery; safely and efficiently running equipment like enrobers, tempering machines, packaging machines, roasting, batching. 
• Adjusting machine settings, inspecting products for defects, monitoring weight, and ensuring compliance with company specifications and food safety standards.
• Prepare a work area for pre- and post-operational activities.
• Load, unload, and transfer product to and from equipment and or
• conveyors.
• Monitor production lines, identify issues, supply and replenish packaging
• materials as necessary.
• Sort, weigh, wrap, label, verify or measure products to meet product specifications.
• Inspect and remove defective products and or packaging materials from the process.
• Arrive at your workstation prepared to perform tasks at a scheduled time,
• and staying until work is complete, or until supervisor and/or manager
• indicate work is done. Overtime may be necessary and is required when
• scheduled.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Set up, tear down of equipment, selection of pre-determined settings and
• Use proper lifting, bending, and reaching techniques.
• Perform other duties as assigned. Identify any safety concerns and or
• hazards and report them.
• Perform safety checklist and ability to operate pallet jack/riders/forklift
• equipment.
• Perform Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.
• Modify and create program settings to meet production standards.
• Provide machine adjustments and troubleshooting when required.
• Forklift operations. 
• All other tasks assigned.

Required Experience:

• Previous experience in machine operation, preferable in food manufacturing
• Forklift experience is preferred.

Compensation

United States-based roles only: The wage for this role is between $22.00 - $25.00 per hour, plus immediate participation in our benefits program (health, dental, 401k, and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs. All employees are owners of Voyage Foods and receive an equity grant as part of their total package. At Voyage Foods, we approach each individual's compensation with a promise of fair market value and internal equity commensurate with experience and specific skill set.
