The
Architectural Designer to actively contribute to all stages of the architectural design process, from concept to construction. The ideal candidate will produce high-quality presentations, schematic designs, design development plans, construction documents, and construction administration. This role requires proficiency in REVIT, strong collaboration with team members, and a commitment to delivering precise and effective architectural documents.
Duties/Responsibilities: - Prepare accurate architectural presentations, design, and construction documents using REVIT.
- Collaborate and coordinate with the project team, including architects, designers, consultants, and clients, to ensure cohesive design integration.
- Research and interpret relevant codes and client requirements to inform design decisions.
- Implement and utilize established REVIT standards, families, and templates to maintain consistency and quality.
- Prepare specifications and review shop drawings for compliance and accuracy.
- Conduct periodic travel for building investigations, measurements, and construction observation, including the preparation of subsequent reports and exhibits.
- Assist in compiling construction plans from all disciplines for submittal to agencies with jurisdiction.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities: - Proficiency with Revit, Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning laws and regulatory requirements
- Excellent oral, written, and organizational skills, and ability to maintain schedules and meet project deadlines.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work cross-functionally in a team environment.
- Familiar with the architecture and engineering industry.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Assist with administrative duties and needed.
Education and Experience: - Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- 2+ years of experience in architecture, with a focus on quality control, project management and leadership.
